Ride+Stride

Thanking everyone for their amazing support for Ride+Stride 2016, John Pickthorn, our Ride+Stride organiser, said: “Whether you cycled, walked, sponsored someone, or opened your church and provided welcome refreshments, you have been amazing. Thank you for all your hard work. You have helped to save beautiful and historic churches for everyone to enjoy.” Stay tuned for news of our next Ride+Stride on Saturday 9 September 2017.

Sir Barney White-Spunner

Our latest News & Annual Report has now been published, and can be viewed here

As well as a review of the past year, including a full list of grants offered, it also includes news about forthcoming events, including the 2016 Gepp Lecture on Wednesday 18 May. Our speaker this year is Sir Barney White-Spunner, most recently Executive Chairman of the Countryside Alliance, who is a passionate advocate of the importance of churches in rural communities. All are welcome to attend the lecture, entitled 'Sharing the Space, Sharing the Spirit' which will be given in Holy Cross Church, Felsted, at 8.15pm.

This follows the AGM at 7.15pm and refreshments at about 7.45.

Please email jamesbettley@btinternet.com to be sent further information; it would help us to know if you are planning to attend.
